1.First of all, tell me a short debrief of the history of "Transcending Bizarre"?

We released our first demo in early 2000and a second promo cd two years later.In June 2003 our debut album was released under Sleaszy Rider recs. and that’s our story so far.

2.Tell me some details for your debut album ?

It’s called “the four scissors” .It has 10 tracks and was recorded in Underground studio in Thessalonica from March to June’03.

3. Is there any feedback from the audience about this cd until now?

I can’t say that the cd sold many copies but there’s time enough ahead of us…Of course the reviews so far are from good to very flattering ones!

4. Which is the procedure when you write the songs?

The compositions are conceived mainly in my mind and all together we create the final structure and form of the songs. We try not to copy anyone and write really uncompromising and bizarre music.

5. Where are your lyrics referring to?

Our lyrics have to do with many subjects. First of all we express our irony for the modern humanoid that is for us just a watery creature. There’s no reason to hate him, he’s ridiculous. Other lyrics express our disgust over modernized ethics, ideologies, politics, religions and dogma. We are nihilists and deny everything that is earthly. My favorite track from our album “Coils” speaks for the phenomenon that everything in nature can be translated and analyzed through numbers and math. Cosmos repeat it’s self and walks in shapes of coils. Our tiny lives are already lived but we don’t know it yet.

6. Have you already play any gig, and tell me you’re favourite live?

No gigs ‘till now. In the next couple of months we’ll give some.

7. Your influences from the metal scene?

Each one of the members likes different styles of music but we try to create something new. We adore artists like Bjork, Mayhem, DHG, Beethoven, M.Hatzidakis, Vangelis, Radiohead, Igor Stravinsky, Preisner, Orphanage, DreamTheater etc.

8. Tell me some words about the cd cover?

The cover and the digital photo manipulations were made by Andonis Dragassias (www.eyeseered.com). It’s a modern Jesus in the cover. I don’t know if we express something with this.

9. Tell me you favourite album and your favourite band?

My favorite albums are “Metropolis part II: scenes from a memory” from Dream Theater and “OK computer” from Radiohead.These are my favorite bands as well.

10. Where are you from?

I’m from Yannitsa but I live now in Thessalloniki.The other members are from Yannitsa too except Dim our guitarist who is in Thessalonica permanently.

11. Tell me your opinion about the metal scene in your country?

I appreciate artists such as Septic Flesh, Horizon’s end, Dol Ammad, Swan Christy. However, I believe that most Greek bands play the same boring things and I’m tired. Metal magazines do not promote good bands but the editor’s friends. Also it’s funny when they present awful cd’s from bands with “big history”(?) in the Greek scene. Even in their interviews they tell the same bullshit.Concluding, no band gets what it deserves.

12.What are your plans in the future for the band?

I’ve already composed some newmaterial.It’s a little bit more brutal black than our debut cd.When we are done with the forthcoming gigs we’ll start working on the new stuff.

13. Is metal a way of your life?

No it isn’t. Does metal has some values or ideology? What are they? My way of life is “bizarre” I’d say, not metal.

14. How you describe your music?

Innovative, extreme electro black or nothing like this!

15. If your music was an emotion, what would be?

Hate of cource! Pure and based on facts!

16.If you had the chance to travel back in time, which period would you like to visit and why?

I’d travel to the age of Dinosaurs. I think it would be very interesting but I don’t know exactly the reason why!?
